Recipe: Stir-Fried Pork Burritos


  • 1 pound lean boneless pork loin
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and sliced
  • 1 green pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 4 flour tortillas


  1. Slice pork across grain grain into 1/8″ strips.
  2. Mix together garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, orange juice, vinegar and hot pepper sauce.
  3. Marinate porkstrips in mixture for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in heavy skillet or on griddle until hot.
  5. Stir-fry pork strips, onion and green pepper until pork is no longer pink, about 3 – 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with flour tortillas and accompany with sliced green onion, shredded lettuce and salsa, if desired.
  7. Serves 4
