Recipe: Carnitas – Meat Appetizers

Summary: Tasty Meat Appetizers


  • 1 1/2 Pounds boneless pork shoulder

  • Garlic Salt
  • Guacamole or Canned Taco Sauce
  • Warm tortillas (optional)


  1. Cut pork into 1-inch cubes
  2. Spread pork in a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle lightly with garlic salt and pepper.
  4. Add water to depth of 1/2 inch.
  5. Bake in 350 degree oven 2 to 2 1/2 hours or till water evaporates and meat is brown.
  6. Skewer with wooden picks for dipping into sauce, or mix meat and sauce and fill tortillas.
