Recipe: Siesta Bread


  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix

  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons chili seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix and seasoning mix.
  3. Add milk and mix well.
  4. Pat into a greased 8″ square baking pan.
  5. Drizzle with melted butter or margarine.
  6. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
