Recipe: Nacho Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups picante sauce
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
  • 1 (medium sized) bag tortilla chips
  • 3/4 pound cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (4 ounce) can black olives, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Brown beef with onion; drain off fat.
  3. Add soups, sauce and chiles; mix well.
  4. In 13″ x 9″ baking pan, layer 1/2 of the tortillas chips, 1/2 of the meat mixture, 1/2 of the cheese and 1/2 of the olives.
  5. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake 20 minutes, until bubbly.
