Ingredients


  • 1 Small Jicama
  • 6 Seedless Green Grapes
  • 6 Maraschino Cherries
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Lime Iuice
  • 1 Cup Tequila (8 Ounces)
  • Crushed Ice

Instructions

  1. With a melon baller cut out 6 balls from the jicama.
  2. Skewer one grape, one jicama ball, and one cherry on each of 6 picks or small skewers.
  3. Stir together sugar and lime juice.
  4. Add tequila; mix well.
  5. Pour over crushed ice in 6 cocktail glasses; garnish with the skewered fruit.
  6. Makes 6 servings. About this recipe: The skewered fruits represent the green, white, and red of the Mexican flag.
  7. If you can’t buy jicama, use apple or banana pieces dipped in lemon juice.
