Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 package corn tortilla chips
- 1/2 pound cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 red onion, sliced finely
- 1/2 basket cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
- 1(15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and chilled avocado, peeled and cubed (optional)
- Ranch dressing or salsa mixed with sour cream
Instructions
- Wash and core lettuce; chill.
- Brown ground beef with seasonings and drain fat.
- Crush tortilla chips.
- Reserving several large leaves for garnish, tear remaining lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- Toss all ingredients with dressing.
- Garnish with lettuce leaves.
- Serve with Salsa if desired
